Deciding to participate in the AMBEX program was a big step for me. Even as I flew to Europe, I wasn’t sure if I had made the right decision. It only took one day in Germany for me to realize that I had made a good choice. My experience with AMBEX was truly the best experience of my life so far, and I returned home a changed person. I encourage anyone that is remotely interested in international travel to take the plunge and study abroad with AMBEX. You won’t regret it!

Kameron Jenkins

I chose to participate in AMBEX because I was interested in travel and European history, but it ended up meaning so much more than that. The courses I took were designed more than just to inform me, but to help me actually experience history and my faith in an extremely unique way. The classes I took taught me to appreciate the past, the travel I experienced gave me a greater cultural context, and the people I was with helped make the semester one I won’t easily forget.

This semester brought me completely out of my element and it turned out to be the best experience I’ve ever had in my life. I have grown more in these past three months than I have in these past three years. Not only did I gain a thirst for learning, gain more independence, and become enlightened to different cultural understandings, but also through it all I grew more spiritually than I ever have before. Most importantly, I have gained an even more sense of wanderlust than I had before, but this time I am fully and happily content in my wanderlust of wherever God takes me.

Lisa Ross, Corban University – Fall 2013
